Register as a user on Virtual Brevet
To enter information to the forum and upload your ride information for challenges you need to create an account to Virtual Brevet
Register as a user of Virtual Brevet. You will need to agree to the rules and to receive a confirmation email to set your password. This will set you up as a user for the Virtual Brevet forum which will also give you access to the form for entering rides.
Log onto Virtual Brevet
To be able to post or read posts in the forum and to upload ride information for challenges you need to logon. Links for logging on are available on the pages for challenges.
Add the details of your ride using the “Enter ride information” form
Use the following link to enter your ride into the database. Click here to locate the link in the forum
Once you submit the form you cannot change the information submitted. if there is an error that needs to be corrected the use the Contact Us form.
Ensure that you enter all the fields marked with a red asterisk, along with screen shots of your results that show your name, distance covered, date and total time.
- Email: This will be filled in from your logon details and will not be visible to any other users and will not be used for any other purpose that to track your information for challenges on this site.
- Cyclist: The name you want to see on the Hall of Fame, this will be auto filled as your “Display Name” but you can change it. It does always have to be the same and it is recommended that you update your display name in the forum to what you want to have shown on the Hall of Fame.
- Select the challenge that you want the ride added to.
- You can also register your ride for another challenge.
- You can also add a link to the ride in the app that you used so that other users can do this ride as well.
- You can upload 2 screen shots of your ride(s) that provide sufficient information to show you have met the criteria for the challenge.
- Use the additional information to provide more information to the moderators who will approve the ride as meeting the conditions for the challenge. This may include links to your ride in the app you use or in Strava. Make sure that these will be visible to the Virtual Brevet Moderator.
- Add some comments about your ride that will help other users decide whether it is worth riding.
- DO NOT fill out the 5 fields at the bottom of the form, these are for admin use but can not be hidden from this form.
