RULES
Rides can be completed on any virtual training app, outdoor rides do not count.
Rides can be used for more than one challenge by selecting the second challenge on the Enter Ride Information form. You will be automatically entered in the single ride challenge for the specified ride group.
Most apps do not have long rides so you can repeat rides or do separate rides as long as you post evidence that a total distance has been ridden within the specified time period from the start of the first ride to the end of the last ride. Check out the instruction for the 1200 km ride where these options are explained in greater detail.
The idea is to simulate rides IRL, this is not meant to be easy but it is your challenge and your responsibility to make it as real as possible. This is easy with Rouvy when you use Time Trial mode or participate in a race as you cannot change the reality and simply posting a link to the ride’s leaderboard and indicating what your Rouvy username is would be sufficient.
- Exception to these rules
- Challenges that are marked as Tours these do not use the Brevet times and can be done in your own time at whatever settings provide the best challenge for yourself.
- Everesting: These are not Brevet rides but follow the guidelines of everesting.cc with the exception that you do not have to go up and down the same segment, the rules are laid out on the Everest challenge page
You will need to be registered as a user with Virtual Brevet and logged on to use the form to upload your ride. Check out the help for further details.
Posting the evidence also gives permission to post your name in the Hall of Fame .
